Tokyo Olympic Live Live Review 2021 Day 11: The men's semi-final match between India and Belgium started with a three-goal explosion note coming in the first quarter itself. Belgium converted a penalty in the first minutes of the match but India backed up with an equalizer from another penalty. The Manpreet Singh-led side then led the way with a fine lead from Mandeep Singh.
Although India took the lead in the second quarter, it was short-lived as Belgium opened up the pressure with penalty kicks at the back. The pressure finally paid off as Alexander Hendrickx converted a well-taken penalty to equalize 2-2. No goals came in the third quarter but Belgium took the lead from another and Hendrix's penalty to make it 3-2. The penalty kick gave the Belgians a two-goal lead and Hendrickx became an extraordinary tactic.
This is India's first semi final after 49 years. India beat Great Britain 3-1 in a high-profile match on Sunday. All three goals in the quarter-finals were field goals and PR Sreejesh was at the highest level in the third quarter when Great Britain attacked.
In the women’s javelin thrashing event, India’s Annu Rani campaign ended as she finished 14th out of 15 in Group A degrees with the best attempts of 54.04m. His effort was 63.24 meters but he could not progress further. The 28-year-old Meerut sprinter is the first women's javelin thrower to enter the Olympics and has set a national record for the past seven years: Starting with 58.83m in 2014 and the most recent 63.24m during the Federation Cup in March this year. In the struggle, India begins its campaign at Makuhari Messe Hall in the Lake with the battle of Sonam Malik against Mongolia's Bolortuya Khurelkhuu in the 16th round of the women's 62kg freestyle category. It will be followed by a semi-final battle later in the day if Malik qualifies.

While removing their biggest heist from the Olympics, India did a short job in Australia, actually.
Playing their biggest, hottest game, India turned to the game of ‘mini hockey’, a clever switch made with a successful breathtaking.
Sjoerd Marijne's side started their quarterfinals with high pressure and were not afraid to play long passes from the center of the pitch to the attacking third, completely passing the space in the stomach. But after pulling back Gurjit Kaur scored his first goal of the campaign to put India ahead in the 22nd minute, Australia became aggressive, pressuring India in the middle of their quest to equalize.
That forced Marijne to use a different strategy early in the third quarter. Continuing with long distances to find a place to breathe would lead to easier grip, easier management benefits and more security pressures.
